ML350 G3 w/ 2003 Server and SA5312 or SA641
I have several ML350 G3 servers that have either the SA5312 or SA641 controller. Both of these devices use the Smart Array 5x and 6x controller driver. When I try to download my image that was created with the SA5312 it won't boot using the SA641. The OS gets to the 2003 loader screen then just reboots. Can anyone provide some insight?

Re: ML350 G3 w/ 2003 Server and SA5312 or SA641
Hi Kristopher
I suggest you create the image using both the controllers. i.e. suppose your server harddisk are connected to SA531 install an SA641 in the same server and create the image. so the OS will have drivers for both the controllers.
Regards
Robin
