NIC issue - 802.3ad aggregation fails after server reboot
We have 2 NIC HP NC7782 teamed using protocol 802.3ad. (1GB+1GB=2GB). When we reboot the server, the aggregation fails, leaving the server off the network.(ipconfig is blank)
the error from the sys evt is : 802.3ad link aggregation (LACP) has failed. ACTION: Ensure all ports are connected to LACP-aware devices.
The quick fix is using the ILO console and refresh the config, without restart.
Anyone with an idea?
Many thanks for your answers...

Re: NIC issue - 802.3ad aggregation fails after server reboot
I'm having the same problem to...
I've updated NIC firmware in all HP DL360 G5 server's including x64, updated for several times and versions the latest NIC driver's, latest Team driver's and at this moment I have the VCA for all machines Up to date and the problem remainds.
When the machine is rebooted, the Team tries to Adquire an IP Address from DHCP, but the team it's configured with fixed IP.
The workaround I have found to put the team working again until the next reboot, it's to disable the Team connection in the Network properties and Enable it again and the connection it's restablished again with the configured IP address.
I have already uninstalled Team software, reeboted the server, installed the Team software again and made the network configurations. The problem seems to be resolved but after a few reboots it appear again.
Some one could help with this.
Thanks.
