PostgresSQL 8.3 can not be running

Have anyone know why PostgresSQL 8.3 can not be running Windows 2003 R2 SP2 on HP ProLiant?

I believe that it is related to the below:

My question is that:

- HP ProLiant modified wmiprvse.exe ?
- Does HP ProLiant differ from normal Windows 2003 Server R2 SP2 ?

Any comment would be appreciated.
