Problem with Windows Server 2003 - ExtremeZ-IP 4.2.2

Dear All,

Someone help me pls!

My File Server is running MS Windows Storage 2003 Server OS(Bundled in HP DL380 Storage Server.

I used ExtremeZ-IP ver 4.2.2 for file sharing for Macintosh.
Macs Client is ok for this.

But, problem is ExtremeZ-IP on the Widows Server 2003:
1. ExtremeZ-IP uses so many %Processor Time.

2. % Processor Time increased so many when the number of File Open increased and Server halted when % Processor Time is about 85-90 in 5-10 munites.

3. After restart, File Server is ok and problem repeat when File Open increased over 90-100.

If you have any solution, pls help me!

Thanks & Best Regards,

James Nguyen

My 1st recommendation would be to change the service so that it set at "below-normal" or "low" cpu priority.

2nd, I'd go and see if there is a patch or something for that service.
