RDP 2003 Imaged servers do not join AD domain??

i've tried everything and after I successfully deploy an image and try to join it to the AD domain, it gives me error "The specified server cannot perform the requested operation." this is happening on all my 2003 images. Also, noticed that after image is loaded i try to ping localhost and it does not do any resolution.. anyone experiencing this?? btw i'm using RDP 2.2

so far I have opened a case with MS and HP.. MS is saying that the Aclient is corrupting the TCP/IP Stack.. HP Support has no idea..

Hi James!

Check that PSP is properly installed. Try to reinstall TCP/IP protocol. If all is ok, but problem will not resolved, try to do sysprep of server. RDP work for me without described issues

ok.. I think it's working now.. it seems that the problem was that I was using my own capture job and not using the default "Read DL, ML .. etc" job.. it runs the hpprep.exe which seems that does more than what i thought it did.. testing it now with a new production image.. will post results..

Only need to create "domain" entry in currentcontrolset and reboot to fix problem
