Rolling Upgrade to W2003 Entripse Edition fails
Hi,
Trying to upgrade a Windows 2000 Advanced Server Cluster to 2003 using the rolling upgrade method KB28227. Upon restart the system momentarily blue screens and restart. It's in a loop and the blue screen error flashes too quickly to read.
ML370G3 Dual CPUs, 2 internal HDs
2 NICS (Broadcomm & HP)
2 HP 64bit/66 MHZ Fibre HBA
2 StorageWorks RA4100s
Insight Manager V7 agents
HP Secure Path v3
Thanks,
Patrick

Re: Rolling Upgrade to W2003 Entripse Edition fails
Found the problem!
W2K3 was choking on the Secure Path v3.1 driver radisk.sys. Got the machine up by removing the 2 FC HBAs. Then I uninstalled Secure Path. Upgrade completed successfully. Now I need to find a W2K3 version of Secure Path for Storage Works RA4100. Anyone know?
Thanks,
Patrick

Re: Rolling Upgrade to W2003 Entripse Edition fails
Sounds like I need Secure Path v3.1C for RA4100. Problem - this is not a download. HP says I need to purchase the HA/FA200 Cluster Kit for $2,700 to get the Secure Path v3.1C media. Ouch.
