Strange problems suddenly with SBS2003 on ML330G3

Suddenly yesterday IE stopped to open WEB pages and I rebooted it.
Then problems got very bad!
Copy/paste not working, event viewer not opening anything, taskbar not working properly, help/support not opening.
It seems that majority of services are not started. ALso in startup it says "atleast one service failed"
I cannot install anything neither copy anything !
I noticed that SP2 has some known issues but I cannot install KBxxx hot fixes as it fails to cryptographic service not started when I try to start installation.

WHat can I do ? It has been working perfectly over a year and now suddenly this !
I cannot continue my business with it!

Hello Janne,
Did u install or uninstall anything before this happened ? Personally I am seeing this kind of issue for the first time. Will the server boot to the safe mode ?

No I didn´t. I was only using it as it was. Heavily over remote connection, mainly OWA and when I yesterday evening went to log on locally this happened.
Day before there was automatic updated downloaded and I accepted to install it. I guess it was spy removal program update.

This is absolutely new to me too !

It is as simple system as it only can be. Only that one Proliant computer used as server & local. Several clients connecting to OWA.
Now almost everything is down. APache running http web server works but not IIS runing OWA on https.
IIS and OWA is now what I am concerned mostly.
I cannot run backup, neither burn DVDs. Interesting lock up !

Yup Interesting.... That you got a SPYWARE removal tool that updated itself.
1) R u referring to the windows remote desktop connection ? or iLO ?

2) Does Safe mode works ?

I can boot to safe mode but suprisiginly it doesn´t make any difference.
Same way event viewer is nto accessible. Error says interface not available (guess some service need to be started)
IE won´t work there either, basically all the same as in normal mode.
Malicious software removal tool update were latest windows update installed.

As remote connection I refer to the one access over https://server.name/remote
So remote desktop and OWA.
Both are down. APache works only what comes to net connections.

Try booting from the windows CD & do a
"CHKDSK /r"
