SolutionThe reason, why you can't login is that you dit not preconfigure the hp system management home page before installingen.
This should do!

Re: System management homepage login failed
Try doing the follwoing from a working server to non working server.
as i understand you are not able to logon to management agent page. If yes follow the instructions :
-------------------------------------------
1. Install the Web Agents on a single system.
2. Using the Web browser, change password capability and set up the desired passwords.
3. Look in the C:\COMPAQ\WBEM directory (assuming C: is the Windows system drive) for the file CPQHMMD.ACL. Save this file for use during bulk deployment.
4. Using the Web browser, set up any desired options on the Options page (follow the Options link from the Web Agent home page).
5. Look in the C:\COMPAQ\WBEM\HOMEPAGE directory for the file CPQHMMD.INI, and save this file for use during bulk deployment.
6. Using whatever bulk deployment tools are at your disposal, create the C:\COMPAQ\WBEM directory on each system being deployed.
7. Stop the agents on the remote servers that will be updated.
8. Copy the CPQHMMD.ACL file to the C:\COMPAQ\WBEM directory on each system.
9. Create the C:\COMPAQ\WBEM\HOMEPAGE directory on each system being deployed.
10. Copy the CPQHMMD.INI file to the C:\COMPAQ\WBEM\HOMEPAGE directory on each system.
