						Hi,

and my problem is simple, u might know. so please help.
c:\>java -version:
java version "1.4.2_10"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_10-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_10-b03, mixed mode)
Apache Tomcat/5.0.28 1.4.2_10-b03 Sun Microsystems Inc., Windows 2003, 5.2, x86
in the webapps folder i copied one folder that contains some jsp files.
i added this in the java properties of tomcat also. when i clicked the link
http://localhost:8080/abcdef/jsp/ResponseTimeReport.jsp
i am getting error:
HTTP Status 500
root cause
Unable to find a javac compiler;
com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the classpath.
Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK
help me on this,
10 points sure.

						Shalom,
You might get better help in the Windows 2003 forums.
JAVA_HOME is an environment variable. If it does not point to the correct home of java you will get the response you are getting.
I always cringe when I see Windows 2003 software installed.
Check your startup script that its environment variable JAVA_HOME points to where java really is.
