under disk management Healthy (Unknown Partition) and no drive letter assigned
I have a drive partioned and one of the partition shows as Healthy (Unknown Partition) and no drive letter assigned under disk management. How do i recover the data. this is the secondary drive on the system (It is in slave mode)

Right click on the drive, and assign it a drive letter.

Regardless, you can mount the disk as suggested previously by right clicking the partition in disk management and choosing "change drive letter/path"
Mark active, btw, is a ruminate from the dos days when you would choose which partition of a hard disk would be the boot partition by marking it as the Active partition. You should not worry about this on a secondary disk.
