Upgrade DL380g3 to 2003
I've got a DL380G3 running NT4 sp6a, when I try to upgrade to 2003 RC2 I get the message 'Error reading information from netmap.inf from OEM directories pre-set by the administrator.' This prevents me from upgrading.
I've done everything recommended in the guide published on this site. If anyone has a fix for this it'd be much appreciated.

Re: Upgrade DL380g3 to 2003
You'll have this problem if HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion is NOT a REG_EXPAND_SZ data type.
Check this key or add it if it's missing (or change its type if it's not correct) and things should be fixed.
RGDS.

Re: Upgrade DL380g3 to 2003
I think you meant ...\devicepath under the key you specified, but it is REG_EXPAND_SZ. I found this http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/network/hh/network/503upgrade_365j.asp which explains what's happening. Hopefully when 2003 is released it will have full support for the G3 hardware built-in. Otherwise I think I'll have to make my own netmap.inf.
