Windows 2003 standard edition
With server HP Proliant DL 380 I install 4 GB of RAM, bios confirm 4 GB but the Operating System (windows 2003 Standard Edition) manage 3,5 GB (right click My Computer- properties), 3,66 GB in Task Manager. Why?
Someone could help me ?

However, go to Start>Run>and type MSINFO32
What is the Total Physical Memory & the Total Available Memory?
Meanwhile, I post this link for future reference:

Re: Windows 2003 standard edition
Do you have DL 380 G4 server?
If yes, see

Note you cannot use PAE switch with Windows 2003 standard edition.
