Windows 2003 unattended fails with SP1
I have a working build automation process that uses unattended installs. I can slipstream SP1 into Windows 2003 and the unattend fails with it stips at partitioning drives. I can remove the slipstream and the unattended install works. I've done some reading on your site and it seems to be an issue..just not quite the same symptoms. Is there and issue with the txtsetup.oem and the other OEMBootFiles with SP1? Is there a known version of these driver files that works? I'm building various types of HP boxes.

Re: Windows 2003 unattended fails with SP1
Hello, why don't you try to use nlite, www.nliteos.com , it's a soft to personalize the windows installation cd's and, among other things, it allows you to integrate service pack's. And with that, may be, you don't have these problem that you refer to.
I hope that this help you.

Re: Windows 2003 unattended fails with SP1
H iParis,
I had also unattended installing issues (blue screen) W2K3SP1 (on a ML570).
From HP document (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/CoreRedirect.jsp?redirectReason=DocIndexPDF&prodSeriesId=408482&targetPage=http%3A%2F%2Fh20000.www2.hp.com%2Fbc%2Fdocs%2Fsupport%2FSupportManual%2Fc00208463%2Fc00208463.pdf) I found out that almost all Smart array controllers are now supported by SP1. So I left out the "[MassStorageDrivers]" and "[OEMBootFiles]" from the unattend.txt file and was then able to successfully build a SP1 W2K3 server
