Windows Command Line NIC setting
Did anyone ever make progress with a command line NIC Speed/Duplex setting? I see a thread but not a resolution. Do any of the Compaq tools (proliant servers) allow you to use them to set the speed and duplex from the command line within Windows?

Re: Windows Command Line NIC setting
you might be able to do this with WMI, but it'd depend on the drivers exporting scriptable objects.

the question becomes, why would you want to? the gigabit ethernet standard requires autodetect, more then 95% of all networking gear works with autodetect, and the remaining bits are so old as to be useless by now.

There have been Innumerable people who have helped me. Of course, I've managed to piss most of them off.
