Re: windows server 2003 restarts unexpectedly

Javed,

Here is a Memory Tester free from the internet. Download it, burn it into a CD then boot off the CD and watch the Memory tester checking for errors:
http://www.memtest86.com/

I found this document for your Server Model about the uncorrectable Memory issue:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?locale=en_US&taskId=110&prodSeriesId=316533&prodTypeId=15351&objectID=PSD_EL050111_CW01

Have you updated your BIOS:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/69_4081.html

Do you have enough cooling in the Server room? Do you have the latest Anti-virus defenitions?

Hope this help

Hi Javed,
When you've run the memory tests bro. Latif suggests, I'd open the machine and rmeove and reseat all the memory modules, having blown the slots out with compressed air, in case some lovely desert sand has managed to get in there!

Are you using Windows 2003 SP1? I had the same problem with the ML370 series. After I revmoed SP1, the problem did not occur again.
