Introducing the HPE Data Protection Accelerator Node for X10000
The HPE Data Protection Accelerator Node for X10000 is purpose-built to streamline enterprise backup workflows by combining HPE StoreOnce Catalyst technology with a modern, flash-based architecture. It serves as a hardware-enabled Catalyst target, optimized for integration with Commvault and Veritas NetBackup.
By enabling source-side deduplication with Catalyst-integrated plug-ins, the solution eliminates redundant data before it leaves the backup server. This results in efficient data movement and storage, with up to a 20:1 data reduction ratio—reducing both backup windows and storage footprint.
Designed to work seamlessly with the HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000, the accelerator node simplifies operations by integrating with your existing backup infrastructure and leveraging a single, addressable S3-compatible storage pool.
