Veritas DMP not recognizing dual paths to XP128

Setup:
XP128 disk array
Brocade 3800's
rp7420 (HPUX 11.11)
Two HP HBA's
Veritas VXVM/VCS/DMP

Problem:
DMP is not recognizing that we have 2 paths to the same LUN. With no LUNs excluded from vxvm, the DGs will not import and gives a 'duplicate diskid' error on boot.
If we exclude the second controller, everything is fine (except DMP only see's one path to the disk).

Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

Thanks,
Steve.

Re: Veritas DMP not recognizing dual paths to XP128

Hi Steve

Have you installed the Array Support Library
dedicated to XP 128 Array.
Your error "duplicate diskid" is typical when
the ASL is not installed.

You could finf and download it from Veritas Web site:

Thanks Vincent, you are correct. I installed the support library and everything is working as expected.
