Hi,
I have a strabge problem with some disks presented to an N-Class 11.11 server.
A while ago, we deleted a Shared volume group from a SG cluster and re-assigned the space to another already configured Shared volume group in the same Service Guard cluster. the disks presented from the XP were fine on NODE1 (Claimed) but on NODE2 they are showing NO_HW.
diskinfo show the disk information OK, so it looks like it can take to the disk fine. I've tried running insf -e but to be honest I can't understand why they are showing HO_HW
I've also activated the Shared VG in read-only mode on NODE2 and the VG group sees the disks as available.
any ideas why they are showing as NO_HW?
I'm guessing its something to do with re-presenting the disks after taking them away last year?

Bonjour Joy,
Could you check in syslog for an error like "Unable to access previously accessed device". If yes, you can resolv through "fcmsutil replace_dsk" ( see http://forums.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1041341 )
If no, do you use autopath ? If yes post output of "autopath display /dev/dsk/...." on problematic LUN

Re: XP128 Disks Showing NO_HW
fcmsutil /dev/td0 replace_dsk fixed the problems
