XP256 and HBA LP8000 settings
Hi,
I have HP256 used for storage. On 2000 Windows machine we have Emulux LP8000 HBA card.
We see that our Exchange performance is little poor. Where can I find HP256 recommended performance settings for LP8000 emulux card?
Normall what parameters of HBA card I should take a look at , for better I/O performance?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Re: XP256 and HBA LP8000 settings
Hey Richie.
You should go to SPOCK.
http://spock.corp.hp.com/
Look for Array streams, in your case XP256 and operating system Windows 2K.
You can find there tuning params as well.

Re: XP256 and HBA LP8000 settings
Hey again.
I found only that :
HBA Driver Parameters for Emulex and Emulex OEM HBAs
HP recommends ResetTPRLO = 2 parameter setting for the Emulex HBA for XP Array connectivity,
which is the default for driver version 5-4.82a16 or later.
More: W2K should be SP3 or SP4.
Igor
