NC370i Support in VMWare 3.5

We are having a debate regarding the functions of the NC370i and NC373m NICs in the HP BL465c blades as they relate to VMware ESX 3.5. My understanding is that the NICs are supported for networking, but a collegue says they are supported for iSCSI and TOE. I have several sources indicating that the TOE aspect is not supported under VMWare. Does anyone here have a definitive answer?
