Connection between ProCurve 2810-24G and ProCurve 2610-24
I have a system with two switches ProCurve J9021A - 2810-24G and other seven peripherals switches ProCurve J9085A - 2610-24.
The peripherals are linked in the MiniGBic ports of the two main switches, but I have no network connection from the center to the peripherals.
Did someone find problems with this type of connection?
I have to say that the firmware on board is not the latest one, I'm going to update it on all of them but I will be granted to know that a new firmware can be the solution (the system is abroad and I'm going to travel there)
Tnx in advance
Luca

Re: Connection between ProCurve 2810-24G and ProCurve 2610-24
These are traditional ProCurve switches, and should really be in the E-Series section.
Things to check:
- Only ProCurve SFP/optics are supported.
- The SFP ports are dual personality - cannot have a network cable plugged in to the same numbered port.
- Do you have any VLANs? Make sure the ports are in the same VLANs or you have trunking an routing sorted out properly.
