Best way to monitor MPE, NT, and UNIX?

I have a wide range of supported platforms, I need a reliable tool to monitor my Data base too. Can some some one assist me on this? i.e. MPE, NT, HPUNIX, Oracle,SYBASE, INFORMIX, SQL 7.

Looking for a stable monitoring tool for "MPE,NT"

Openview works quite well on all 3 platforms and it is easy to design monitors to trace database logs.

BMC Patrol is another option for Unix and NT platforms, but I do not know whther they have an agent which will run on MPE.

Re: Best way to monitor MPE, NT, and UNIX?

HP Openview VantagePoint Operations Manager might be helpful.

VantagePoint Operations provides application, database, problem and fault &
network management functionality for distributed computing environments through incorporating NNM (Network Node Manager) and other OV and partner applications.

HP OpenView VantagePoint Operations allows to manage multi-vendor TCP/IP based networks and devices as well as multi-platform systems, databases and applications.

I would strongly suggest you DO NOT consider SysAdmiral from Tidal Software.
