Re: FAULT LED ON L3000 ?
once it has been lit, it will remain lit as long as you do not take a look a the GSP logs.
So access the (lan/web) console, hit Ctrl-B,
at GSP prompt enter sl (show logs), enter e (errors), enter n (no filter)
enter q-Return (to quit log display)
then enter vfp (virtual front panel) to check the led status
Regards,
Bernhard

Re: FAULT LED ON L3000 ?
Chek the GSP log for the errors.SL is the command, E for errors, N for no filter. Chek all alerts. Once U finish off. Alert LED must go off. Check the ts99 file output in /var/tombstones & attach to your reply.

Re: FAULT LED ON L3000 ?
o you mean the Fault LED or the Attention LED?
Attention LED goes off upon reading Error logs in GSP (GSP>SL => E ...).
Fault LED indicates soemthing like "unexpected" reboot occurred, i.e. system crashed or paniced or something like this.
You might check if
'grep -i time /var/tombstones/ts99'
gives some recent timestamp. Otherwise, you might check if at '/var/adm/crash' theer is a recent directory called 'crash.?'...
Again, some hints might also be found in the GSP logs (GSP>SL>E ..).
By the way, the FAULT LED will lit off when a proper reboot occurred...
Regards.
