cascade 2 HP Power Pack FC SAN Switch
Dear All,
i have 2 FC san switch i need to be cascaded.
first switch is configure by zone and fos:7.0.0c model HP 8/24 Power Pack FC SAN Switch
second switch is not configure yet and fos:6.2.0d model HP 8/40 Power Pack FC SAN Switch
my question, can be cascading without any problem becouse the FOS is different.

A better plan is to update your switch firmware. Both of them.
A quick check at HP Storage SPOCK (Single Point of Connectivity Knowledge for HP Storage Products) http://www.hp.com/storage/spock shows the current B-Series FC Switch Connectivity stream.
Both switches are running unsupported versions of firmware.
Upgrade both to 7.4.0a (latest and recommended) and then connect them.
