Hello,
Do you know if is possible present/export a datastore of a cluster Simplivity to another cluster Simplivity? Let me explain my idea...
1- I Have a cluster with 8 nodes Simplivity.
2- I have another cluster with 2 nodes Simplivity.
3- My first cluster (8 nodes) have more capacity for performance (Memory and CPU) than my second cluster (2 nodes).
4- My second cluster (2 nodes) have more storage (space) than my first cluster (8 nodes).
So, Can I create a datastore on my second cluster (2 nodes) and present to first cluster (8 nodes)?
I know that is possible for ESXi Host Standard, but I´m not sure it is possible to a simplivity cluster.
I really appreciate your help.
Regards.

SolutionThanks for your query.
Yes it is possible to export/present datastores this way, but it is not supported.. This would only ever be done on a temporary basis where you are for example migrating VM's from one cluster to another, and support would need to assist in this scenario, but definitely not as a permanent solution.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
DeclanOR
