VMWare VCenter / ESX monitoring

Hi,


A simple question:
Is there a way to monitor VMWare ESX server (running on c-class Blades) or the a vcenter server in IRS?

Yes.
ESX has can have agents just like Windows installed. As long as the servers are on maintenance they should be able to report through once they've been identified.

If you're using ESXi things change as you need to ensure Wbem is configured.
