Introducing new GE industrial IoT solutions at HPE Discover Madrid 2018
By Kevin Faulkner
GE Digital Director Product Marketing
GE is excited to have the opportunity to share our Predix industrial IoT solutions with HPE Discover attendees. GE provides an entire suite of software applications such as Asset Performance Management, along with the edge-to-cloud Predix Platform to host both GE and customer-developed applications. With Predix solutions running at the edge, on-premises and in the cloud, customers can leverage distributed applications and analytics to achieve impactful results.
Three latest product releases from GE Digital
At the event we are highlighting several of our latest product releases โ Predix Edge, Predix Private Cloud and Predix Essentials:
Predix Edge is an on-premises solution to connect industrial devices, process local analytics, and forward data to Predix Cloud. It is available as virtual machine and soon on HPE servers.
Predix Private Cloud provides the power of the Predix Cloud Platform deployable on HPE servers in a customer data center.
Predix Essentials is a complete solution for industrial data monitoring and event management, combining asset connectivity, edge-to-cloud processing, and a feature-rich user console.
Of particular note is Predix Edge โ our next generation connectivity and computing platform. Edge computing is an increasingly critical component of any robust IIoT solution, as industrial innovation drives edge computing beyond connectivity and data forwarding. Processing data and applying analytics close to the device can dramatically reduce downtime, optimize maintenance schedules, and add operational value, all while reducing network and cloud costs. Predix Edge and Predix Cloud/Private Cloud work seamlessly together to provide distributed IIoT processing and analytics where theyโre needed most.
To learn more about Predix Edge or any of solutions, please attend our IoT Showcase session on Thursday at 12:30 or drop by our demo stand.
