I know securepath support load balance in HP-UX.
Does PVlinks support load balance in HP-UX 11.31?
What about Native Mult-Pathing?

By the way, does PVlinks support SAS?

You should use the new device files in order to have all the advantages, e.g.

/dev/disk/disk7

Hello,

you can implement limited load balancing using PVlinks, meaning that you have to take care of equally distributing the primary paths of physical volumes within and across volume groups. This has to be done manually. However I don't see any reason for doing this in 11.31 where you can take advantage of the native multipathing and agile device naming.
