I have 3 networking ports on my rx4440 hpux 11.11.
question 1 can I use apa on 2 ports connected to same switch and the other port as fail over connect to another switch??
question 2 can I use apa on 2 ports conneced one to one switch and another one to other switch??

That depends on what network the switch is on.
if both switches are on the same network then yes.
