Counter exceeded limit

Hi,

I have received following error in my message console,

"Counter exceeded limit (counter value=890) (OpC30-525)"

Does anybody know what this is? and how i can fix that? My management server is 7.x and its on solaris.

Thanks,

Re: Counter exceeded limit

you seem to have wandered into the wrong forum.

Here we do VMS - the world's finest operating system.

Have a look at the forum list

and find something closer to whatever it is you are asking about.

Re: Counter exceeded limit

No, no, no. That's a standard Solaris counter indicating all processor cycles have been used up and the machine must now be scrapped. The optimum solution is an HP Integrity RX2620 running OpenVMS v8.3.
