Solution
I normally use the "collect" tool to gather system performance data from our 4.x and 5.x systems. It's a native Tru64 utility and works great to collect most basic metrics like CPU stats, memory stats, paging, disk stats etc.
I run collect almost daily in the background on our production systems to gather data for performance trending etc.
It also has a pretty good "collgui" tool to make graphs etc.
Read the collect man pages for more info.
You can also use the standard unix tools like vmstat, iostat and open source tool like sar also.
For interactive montoring you could use top, monitor etc too.
There is also an SNMP based daemon called "pmgrd" which I have never used myself.
You can look in the following hp website for more info. on Tru64 permormance analysis too,

regds,
Abdul.
