DL360 G4p Memory Issues
Hi,
I have populated two memory banks of my DL360 G4p with 2 x 2 GB Dual Rank PC2-5300 ECC REG.
I have placed these in DIMM 1 and 2.
When I power on the server, the System Status Led turns from Green to Red and the Amber leds for all 6 DIMM slots are lit.
Does the DL360 G4p ONLY support PC2-3200 memory?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards
Leonard

Re: DL360 G4p Memory Issues
Correct, the PC2-5300 DIMMS are not supported in the DL360 G4p.

Re: DL360 G4p Memory Issues
Appears that only PC2-3200 works - tested working with PC2-3200.
