HP Proliant ML350p Gen8 max number of Media Bay Kits

I understand it is indended to equip one (1) additional Media Bay Kit in case another one or two optical or tape drives (5.25") are required. However, I intend to populate the 5.25" bays with high-density SFF hotswap bays. I require 5 external 5.25" bays. Is it possible to install a total of two (2) Media Bay kits to accomodate my needs? Thanks a lot!

Hello,

The ML350p Gen8 server has not been tested with Two Media bays and it may give heating issues if the airflow is not approprite after installing additional media bay and the drives.
