Hard Disk Firmware
MSA30 running 12-72GB 15K dirves. We purchased 10 drives with the unit. Drive Model number is: BF07289BC4, Firmware version is HPB1. The other two drives are BF072863B6, firmware is HPB4.
One of the new discs failed, and has been replaced with part no: 404713-001, firmware HPB4.
I'm not able to locate the updates for either the drives I purchased 1 month ago or the drives I have had in house and shelved for nearly a year on the software and drivers site at:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/index.html
It doesn't seem like a good idea to have discs with multiple firmware versions in the same box.
Help!
Thanks
Chris
