Purple Screen of Death on Proliant DL380p gen 8
We are experiencing the purple crash screen one of our ESXi 5.1 servers
#PF Exception 14
I understand this is a page fault. Bad ram?
What is the best way to determine the exact cause?
Is there a hardware test tool I can boot the server with to check the ram?
Thank you
Jody

Re: Purple Screen of Death on Proliant DL380p gen 8
please boot your server to insight diagnostic - build in diagnostic tool - and run memory test for couple hours.
