Just announced! Greater configuration flexibility for HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack
HPE is excited to announce several updates to its HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack solution, providing customers with even more configuration flexibility than ever before.
- All-Flash solution: Available in January, 2019, HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack will offer an all-flash option for customers. This new capability will deliver low latency and high performance for running enterprise grade applications.
- Switch options: Available now, customers can customize their solution with Arista top of rack switches, as well as Base Management Controller switches. With the availability of TAA-compliant Arista switches, customers are able to configure a solution that meets their most stringent performance and compliance regulations.
These two updates build on the rapid pace of innovation between Microsoft and HPE for Microsoft Azure Stack. With the jointly announced support for 16 node scale units in September, customers can configure larger Azure Stack deployments to address additional business requirements.
Taken all together, this means that customers now have the ability to purchase any number of nodes in individual increments (from 4-16), with the ability to add incremental nodes when necessary. Our configuration options extend to networking with support for both Arista and HPE switches. This flexibility allows customers to design a solution that is right for their needs.
Since HPE introduced HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack to the market in 2017, the response has been substantial with deployments spanning the globe. HPE continues to invest and innovate on its Microsoft Azure Stack platform, delivering enhanced performance and industry-leading security features, including the newest updates announced this week.
Customers all over the world are putting HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack to work in their datacenters. One customer, cloud service provider, Peering One, is using HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack to reach new markets while minimizing its investment risk. Read their story in this new case study.
HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack will be at the upcoming HPE Discover event in Madrid, Spain, November 27th-29th. If you will be at the event, make sure to come by the HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack booth to meet HPE experts, ask your toughest questions, and score some cool swag.
