2000 Server hangs with TapeWare and DAT40i

GA-7DPXDW w/ AMD MP 2000+
Promise PDC2067 RAID + 2x 80GB
Adaptec 19160
HP DAT40i Newest Firmware
Tapeware newest Version
Windows 2000 Server
Problem:
Start Backup, the display shows, that backup ist running. after a few (or more) minutes the complet machine stops. no Bluescreen. no Softreset possible. The HD-LED is on.

Hi.

First of all, Adaptec 19160 is not supported under a server OS at all. It's a workstation HBA, check http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/suppedindexprod.html?sess=no&cat=/Product/ASC-19160 for details.
