Backup error 5050, 5010

We are using HP SureStore T4 with Stac Replica backup program. I got error message today saying "Replica process unsuccessful. Please try again (5050)". First, I thought it might be a problem with the tape. But I got the same message after I changed a new tape.

We have been using this tape device and the backup program for about the 4 years. This is the first time that I got such message. I could not find any information at all in Help section. So I am posting the issue here and seeking for a solution. Can you help me?

Try cleaning the drive a couple of times and try a backup with a new tape. Depending on the frequency of your backups, the drive your using may be due for replacement. Four years is not a bad innings for a tape drive.
Anyone for a Mutiny ?
