Email Subscription Notifications Suspended Temporarily
We are in the process of making navigation in the Servers and Operating Systems forums simpler and more direct. While doing this, we have to temporarily suspend email notifications for subscriptions. HP storevirtual 4330 FOM error Is part of the management group but management group does not agree

Recently the FOM appears an error saying FOM is part of the management group but management group does not agree.

 

I've tried to re-ip the FOM and restart the FOM but the error does not resolve.

 

I also tried to remove the FOM from the management group but it will says FOM is not a running manager

 

Anyone experience this issue before?

Hi,

 

Yes I've seen this before. The simplest solution is:

 

  • remove the FOM from the management group 
  • Shut it down
  • Download the installer (with your current Lefthand OS version)
  • Create a complete new FOM with the same settings as the original one
  • Bring this FOM in the management group
  • If everything works fine you can remove the original FOM.

 

It sounds a bit harsh but it's quite easy to perform.

Thanks for the steps. I'm not able to remove the FOM from the CMC, but i follow this article

http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c02776330 provided by HP to remove the FOM from the management group at the FOM itself.

 

After removed. I reopen the CMC and re-add the FOM to the management group. Now the FOM is normal again
