Help - ES80 MBM error during power on
Hi
I have installed a re-purposed ES80 M6 server in a cabinet and connected the three drawers using the IP cables - but we are having some trouble getting the ES80 powered on.
We are using a serial terminal directly to the MBM backplane of drawer 0.
I have been unable to find documentation on how to get around this error:
MBM>
MBM> POWER ON
~CLI-W-(tCLImodem) replicated database not synchronized
..[2013/04/12 11:39:17]
~PCO-W-(pco_01) DB access error Id:339 cmd:408
.~CLI-E-(tCLImodem) error in accessing database

I was wondering anyone could provide me with some assistance/guidance in getting this error resolved?
thanks

Re: Help - ES80 MBM error during power on
Hi Dennis,
You are plugged into the serial port of drawer 0 - looks like your problem is
that the Interprocessor links can detect the other drawers but the Management
LAN cannot see the other MBMs - I think you will need to plug all the MBMs into
a switch so the server management LAN can see the other drawers.
Please let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,
Steve.B.

Hey Steve,
Thanks for your response - I do have all three drawers (mbm internal lan connector) plugged into the nat box.

Re: Help - ES80 MBM error during power on
Hi,
Try a set membership -auto from the MBM - you may need to re-scan the
console LAN.
Could you also post the output from the MBM commands sho net and
sho membership.
Please let me know how it goes....
Kind regards,
Steve.B.
