How to disable onboard SCSI controllers on Alphaserver DS15

Greetings to all !

I have a simple question , how can i disable the onboard SCSI controllers on DS15 Alphaserver ?

I want to use two SCSI cards that go into the PCI slots and i don't want to use the internal controllers.

Becuase if i use all four , i get PKC PKD names for my PCI controllers and i need them to be PKA,PKB.

Looked at the DS15 manual but didn't find anything useful, only termination configuration.

Can someone please suggest how to do it ? Is is a jumper configuration on in SRM ?

Thanks a lot !

Why?  Why do you care?  If you have an actual need to use particular
device names somewhere, then why not use logical names for redirection?

As usual, describing the actual problem can be more helpful than
asking how to implement some particular "solution" to it.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility, and there may be something
buried in the VMS start-up device configuration code, but I'm unaware of
a general method.  If the PCI identity of the on-board chips is
different from that of the add-in cards, then you might get the desired
effect from deleting/disabling the appropriate entry in
SYS$SYSTEM:SYS$CONFIG.DAT.  But that would be asking for trouble at the
next VMS patch/update.
