Email Verification for Registration
Keeping the HPE Community a friendly and productive environment for all members has been our topmost priority. But recently we have seen a huge increase in unsolicited marketing posts (generally termed as spams) across the community.
In our efforts to reduce the number of unwanted posts we have reviewed our registration process and have decided to enable email verification during registrations. The new registration flow will be active from 28th May’19 onwards.
How it works:
To make sure that a valid email address is being used during registration, a verification token will be sent out to the given email address. Once the email address is verified, the registration will complete and member will be able to post in the forums and comment in blogs.
Note: This applies only for New Registrations and will not affect already registered members.
Thanks,
