Introducing flat support pricing for HPE Primera

This allows you to keep your storage costs predictable.

When we first announced Timeless Storage for HPE Primera, we set out to not only deliver an intelligent data platform, but to also eliminate surprises from our customers’ storage experiences. This ChalkTalk video tells you more about Timeless Storage for HPE Primera.

Today, we’re taking this to the next level by offering flat support pricing.

In an IT world with many uncontrollable factors, flat support pricing helps to simplify the planning process—while continuing to take advantage of the benefits of HPE Pointnext Services and building on the success of HPE Primera programs like Timeless Storage.

Flat support for HPE Primera gives you:

  • Operational ease to be more efficient with budgeting and planning.
  • More predictability by ensuring they’ll get the same great support year after year at the same price as Day 1.
  • Greater peace of mind by building on HPE Primera programs, including the HPE Technology Refresh Service (a main component of Timeless Storage) and the 100% Availability Guarantee, that makes it easy to keep pace with changing technology and technology requirements to prolong the lifespan of your products.

So how does it work? It’s radically simple!

Like HPE Primera, flat support pricing is radically simple. When you purchase an HPE Primera array, along with either HPE Proactive Care, HPE Proactive Care Advanced, or HPE Datacenter Care Add-On, you will be eligible for flat support pricing. It’s that simple. Upon support renewal, you will automatically receive a quote for support that reflects a zero net price increase of the annualized net price originally paid for support.  As long as renewal is for the same support level and hardware configuration and meets the minimal terms and conditions listed here, you will not see an increase in your support pricing.   

HPE Nimble Storage customers have already benefited from the simplicity and predictability of flat support pricing. Now, HPE Primera customers will be able to as well, which is good news in this complex and unpredictable world. You’ll be able to plan and budget better with consistent support prices.  And finally, you can be confident that you will be able to keep pace with changing technology and requirements for years to come.
