Not slowing down! HPE InfoSight extends its Reseller feature capability
Weโve just extended the HPE InfoSight platform with features that make it even simpler for our partners to forecast the capacity and performance needs of their customers and be more proactive with recommendations and adviceโall in a single view.
Intelligence is the lifeblood of the HPE Storage portfolio. With thousands of customers, years of experience, and decades of years collecting data, using artificial intelligence and predictive analytics allows us to engineer smarter products that meet customersโ needs today and well into the future.
HPE InfoSight, our AI-driven operations platform, is a key competitive differentiator for HPE, and it can be a key differentiator for our partners as well. Since 2014, we have allowed resellers to view their customers environments (if the customer agreed). Our partners saw a significant advantage in having access to InfoSight because it allowed them to instantly understand their customerโs environment, and assist them in provisioning and plan for future requirements. It was a win-win for the customer and the reseller.
The reseller capability was a major hit because of its ease of use and enabled resellers to help their customers achieve their goals. We have now expanded this feature to make it even simpler, providing a dashboard for all of their customers in a single view.
We are not slowing down and are continuing to enhance InfoSight to drive a better partner and customer experience. At HPE, we know that when partners are happy, customers are happy. The new reseller features have two key areas of upgraded functionality: user experience features and sales features. Here are some details on both.
User experience features:
- Reseller will have an overview of all its customersโ arrays (with permission), aggregated on one page.
- Additional details of the arrays are easy to exploreโ in one click of a button and can be downloaded.
- Customer arrays can be easily sorted by hardware/software upgrade recommendations, hardware status, usable space, support end date, etc.
Sales features:
- Capability to view individual array statistics (space utilization, warrant expiration date) in one view. โ
- Ability to sort and get precise data across all ofyour customer accounts to make quick decisions to advise your clients on infrastructure upgrades and planning for the future.
This feature is now available on HPE InfoSight.
