4k alignment
When creating a volume in Alletra with vSphere 8 using VMFS6, is there anything you need to do special to ensure 4k alignment?
Usually I just choose the performance policy "VMware ESX 5"

Performance policy VMware ESX 5 should be fine here, as the block size is set to 4 KiB.
You may verify this from the array UI by navigating to Manage>Performance Policies
