Anyone else like the old 2.x OS homepage better?

I just found that the 3.x home page is not as good as the 2.x one. The old one is much cleaner, it gives you the volume and snapshots usage in both size and percentage format. The current homepage doesn't have this kind of information and I haven't yet found a page that can give me the information. Also the event summary section keeps flashing non-stop which is annoying.
