Connecting HPE Nimble HF20 to existing HPE 5900AF-48XG switches

Hi,

A customer of us wants to buy two HPE Nimble HF20 and wants to connect them to existing HPE 5900AF-48XG switches. Is it possible and supported to connect the Nimble arrays with HPE FlexNetwork X240 10G SFP+ to SFP+ 3m Direct Attach Copper Cables to the existing switches. If so wich of the Nimble networking adapters below are supported for that (or all)?

I hope to get an answer soon. THNX

Hello,

Yes, this will work no problems at all. You will need Q8B88B, which will give you 2x 10Gb SFP+ ports per controller.

For what it's worth, if you're a HPE partner, you have a dedicated technical partner forum (with a Nimble channel) availble to you at HPE TechPro. https://techpro.hpe.com
