HF20 10 gig sfp nic vender

Hi,

On the earlier models the 10gig sfp nic was a Silicom PE210G2SPI9 Server Adapter. Is it still the same in the HF models?

the price tag on those nic devices is so high, they must be coated with diamonds, which of csause they are not.

I do understand, that the price also include Nimbles verification the nics works without issues within Nimble OS,  but going from a retail price at X where you multiple the price times 10, is a very high price for internal testing and support.

It is a standard of the shelf 10gig nic and optics, Intel 82599 chip. No more, no less. I would expect, we already paid for this, when we bought the array with software. I don´t expect we bought an array, where only some features where tested.  As Nimble says, we use standard commodity hardware, it´s the CASL, which makes Nimble special.

Even the HF20 is a standard OEM Intel server.
