Creating custom signatures for distribution groups

Hi,
I just created a distribution group and I would like to create a custom signature that will be added to e-mails that are sent to this group. Am I dreaming here?

btw passed my 70-216 yesterday for those of you who know what that is...

Best Regards,

Re: Creating custom signatures for distribution groups

Daniel:

I assume you have scanned the 'custom signature' into the computer. If so, launch Outlook and select Tools/Options/Mail Format and click Signature Picker button, click New, click Advanced Edit. If you have MS Word on your system, it will launch and you can Insert the file containing the custom signature.

Then, when you have the New e-mail window open (in Outlook) just click Insert/Signature and choose the appropriate signature file.

HTH!

Re: Creating custom signatures for distribution groups

From what I could find, you cannot assign a sepparate signature to a disbribution group (or list).

There can be only one (signature defaulted to at a time, that is).

But... You can set up multiple signatures to select from to be inserted.

Insert whichever is appropiate for the group.

Or leave a default signature in, then delete the default when addressing to the list, and insert the custom one for the list.
