NT4 + W2000
We have NT4 network. We installed a Win 2000 server on a different machine and tried to bring it up on the NT network. It could not be done. Is it possible to use the W2000 server as a member server (or just any server) in the NT4 network.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: NT4 + W2000
Hello,
Yes it is possible to have NT and W2K machines in the same domain. I'm not sure where the problem is since you didn't give many details. Do you have basic network connectivity between the machines? Can you ping back and forth by name and ip address? Here is a general article about joining W2K machines to an NT 4.0 domain. If this doesn't help, please post another message and let us know what steps you are following to join the domain and any errors that you receive.
